The Lion King

The Lion King, one of the most unforgettable classics in animation history, transports audiences to the untamed wilderness of Africa. The story unfolds around Simba, a lion cub born on the eve of an era in which the deep-rooted order governing nature will be shaken to its core. As heir to the throne of his father, the king of the wild, Simba grows day by day, learning valuable lessons in a land filled with dangers and cunning enemies. The young lion's willingness to embrace his responsibilities and confront the challenges before him will shape the future of the kingdom and define its new order. Etched into memory with its colorful characters and an increasingly moving story, the film also earned composer Hans Zimmer an Academy Award for its magnificent score.
