The Cabin in the Woods

The Cabin in the Woods starts out like a classic horror movie: five friends head to a remote cabin in the woods for a getaway. But once things turn bloody, the picture changes. As the teens fall into familiar horror-movie habits, a team of technicians in a control room watches their every move and even steers it. Directed by Drew Goddard, the film mixes imagination with sly humor and turns the genre’s conventions upside down. The cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Kristen Connolly, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz, Jesse Williams, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford.
