Scarface

After arriving in Miami from Cuba, Tony Montana enters the criminal underworld in search of a better life and quickly begins climbing the ranks. Working under drug lord Frank Lopez, Tony learns how the city's illegal drug trade operates behind closed doors. Driven by ambition, violence, and an uncontrollable temper, he transforms himself from a small-time criminal into the powerful leader of a vast criminal empire. But as his wealth and influence grow, keeping control of everything he has built becomes increasingly difficult. Directed by Brian De Palma and written by Oliver Stone, the film stands as a memorable entry in gangster and crime cinema. Inspired by Howard Hawks’ 1932 film of the same name, it explores Miami’s drug trade, ruthless power struggles, and the dangerous rise of a criminal empire. Al Pacino delivers a commanding performance as Tony Montana, while the film’s distinctive soundtrack further strengthens its intense atmosphere.
