Never Let Me Go

Ruth, Kathy and Tommy spend their childhood together at an idyllic-looking boarding school in the English countryside. As they grow older, their close friendship gradually becomes more complicated, and the feelings they develop for one another grow stronger. Yet behind the peaceful appearance of their school lies a disturbing truth that has been carefully hidden from them. When they enter adulthood, Ruth, Kathy and Tommy begin to understand the reality of their past and the fate that has been decided for them. No matter how deeply they care for one another, they are forced to confront a future they may have little power to change. As the truth becomes impossible to ignore, their relationships are tested by questions of love, sacrifice, identity and what it truly means to be human. Adapted from Kazuo Ishiguro’s acclaimed novel, Never Let Me Go takes place in a dark and alternative version of the world, following three young people as they struggle to hold on to their love and humanity while facing a destiny that has been determined for them.
