Mad Max: Fury Road

Set in a scorched wasteland where water and fuel are worth more than human life, Mad Max: Fury Road follows a man who has been running from his own past for so long that he has stopped believing in anything else. Haunted by the people he could not save, Max has convinced himself that survival means traveling alone. That certainty falls apart the morning he is dragged into someone else's escape. Imperator Furiosa has stolen the most valuable thing tyrant Immortan Joe possesses and pointed a heavily armored war rig toward the horizon - with an entire army of fanatical, death-worshipping drivers roaring after her. Thrown together by circumstance, the loner and the renegade have to decide whether to trust each other, because neither of them will make it across the desert alone. George Miller, the filmmaker who defined post-apocalyptic cinema, returns to direct this fourth chapter in the legendary series. Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron lead the cast, joined by Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Nathan Jones, Josh Helman, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Riley Keough, and Zoë Kravitz.
