Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is the origin story behind the warrior we met in Fury Road. As the world collapses, a young girl growing up in the hidden abundance of the Green Place of Many Mothers is torn from her home and falls into the hands of a savage Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus. Dragged across the Wasteland, Furiosa ends up at the Citadel, the fortress ruled with an iron grip by Immortan Joe. While the two tyrants tear at each other for control of the desert, she is left to survive between them - hiding who she is, enduring what she must, and quietly assembling the means to find her way back home. But every year she spends in captivity carries her further from the child she used to be, and closer to the fighter she will have to become. Directed by George Miller, the film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Furiosa and Chris Hemsworth as Dementus, with Tom Burke, Alyla Browne, Lachy Hulme, John Howard, and Nathan Jones.
