Fright Night

Fright Night is a funny, bloody twist on the vampire-next-door story. Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) is a popular high schooler with a gorgeous girlfriend, but he has started ignoring his best friend Ed (Christopher Mintz-Plasse). When charming new neighbor Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in, nobody suspects a thing, not Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette) and not his friends. But as strange things keep happening, Charlie discovers the truth: Jerry is a vampire hunting right in their neighborhood. With no one willing to believe him, he has to take matters into his own hands, with a little help along the way. A remake of Tom Holland’s 1985 cult classic, the film is directed by Craig Gillespie, known for Lars and the Real Girl, and was well received by critics abroad. It puts a comic, offbeat spin on vampire lore.
