Doctor Sleep

Haunted by painful memories from his childhood, Danny struggles to escape the emotional scars of his past while battling alcoholism and the dark legacy left behind by his father. Determined to rebuild his life, he settles in a quiet New Hampshire town, joins a support group, and takes a job at a nursing home. There, his extraordinary psychic ability allows him to bring comfort to people approaching the end of their lives. However, a mysterious group known as the True Knot, traveling across America, hides a terrifying secret that threatens the peaceful existence Danny is trying to establish. Although its members appear harmless at first, the group hunts children with supernatural abilities, feeding on their psychic essence to prolong their own lives. Danny's mental connection with Abra Stone, a young girl who possesses powers similar to his own, reveals the danger posed by this ruthless organization. With psychic abilities far greater than anything Danny has encountered before, Abra forces him to confront the painful memories and inner demons he has spent years trying to escape. Together, they must face the True Knot and fight to protect themselves from a deadly threat that could destroy everything they hold dear.
