Alice in Wonderland

Seventeen-year-old Alice finds herself pulled into a strange and fantastical world after following a mysterious white rabbit during the party held to formally introduce her to high society. Although Wonderland seems unfamiliar at first, Alice has actually visited this extraordinary place once before, ten years earlier. Unable to remember her first journey, she must now navigate Wonderland again and uncover the connection between her past and the world around her. Among the unusual characters Alice encounters is the eccentric Mad Hatter, played by Johnny Depp. As she becomes caught up in the conflicts and dangers of Wonderland, Alice must find the courage to stand on her own while confronting memories and truths she has long forgotten. Directed by Tim Burton, the film marks the seventh collaboration between Burton and Johnny Depp. Helena Bonham Carter, one of Burton’s frequent collaborators, portrays the Red Queen, while Anne Hathaway is also part of the impressive cast.
