Walk the Line

It’s 1955, and a young guitarist who introduces himself as J. R. Cash walks into Sun Records in Memphis, hungry for fame. It is the first step for a man who will leave a lasting mark on American music. With his fingers moving across the guitar, his steady, determined gaze and a voice as dark and deep as midnight, Cash pours a raw, honest side of life into songs unlike anything audiences had heard before. But as the spotlight grows brighter, so do the struggles in his personal life. Directed by James Mangold and starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon, Walk the Line is a moving musical biopic about the rise, the love and the inner battles of country legend Johnny Cash. A memorable pick for anyone who enjoys great music and true stories.
