Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

In the small town of Ebbing, Missouri, Mildred Hayes can no longer stay silent. Months have passed since her daughter was murdered, and the police still have no suspect. She rents three billboards on a lonely road outside town and uses them to deliver a blunt message aimed at Willoughby, the town’s well-respected police chief. The move divides the community. When Dixon, a hot-tempered officer who still lives under his mother’s roof and serves as the chief’s right hand, gets drawn into the fight, the conflict between a grieving mother and the local police grows even more intense.
