The Meg

The Meg follows expert deep-sea rescue diver Jonas Taylor as he faces a prehistoric predator lurking in the darkest depths of the ocean. During an international underwater research mission, a deep-sea submersible is attacked by a gigantic creature believed to have been extinct for millions of years. With the crew trapped near the deepest part of the Pacific Ocean, Jonas is called in to lead a dangerous rescue operation. However, the threat awaiting him is far greater than anyone could have imagined. A 75-foot Megalodon, a massive prehistoric shark Jonas has encountered before, has returned and is hunting anything in its path. To save the stranded crew, Jonas must confront his past fears, risk his own life, and face one of the most dangerous predators ever to inhabit the planet. Starring Jason Statham and directed by Jon Turteltaub, the film also features Li Bingbing, Cliff Curtis, Rainn Wilson, and Ruby Rose.
