The Lone Ranger

The Lone Ranger gives the famous masked hero a fresh start, mixing action, humor, and big-screen adventure. This time the story is told through Tonto, who recounts previously untold events that turned John Reid, a young lawman, into a legend of justice. Two very different men are forced to ride together, and their constant clashes drive much of the film’s comedy. Johnny Depp plays Tonto, while Armie Hammer (The Social Network, J. Edgar) takes on the role of John Reid. The cast also includes Tom Wilkinson (Michael Clayton, In the Bedroom), William Fichtner (Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Black Hawk Down), Barry Pepper (Saving Private Ryan, The Kennedys), James Badge Dale (The Grey, The Pacific), Ruth Wilson (Luther), and Helena Bonham Carter (The King’s Speech, Alice in Wonderland). The film is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
