The Invisible Man

The Invisible Man follows Cecilia Kass, a woman trapped in a violent and controlling relationship with a wealthy and brilliant scientist. Unable to endure her boyfriend's abusive behavior any longer, Cecilia slips away in the middle of the night, determined to leave the nightmare behind her for good. Terrified that her ex will come looking for her, she goes into hiding with the help of her sister, a childhood friend who works as a police officer, and his teenage daughter. Then, unexpected news arrives: her former partner has taken his own life, leaving her a generous share of his enormous fortune. Yet Cecilia can't shake the feeling that his death is nothing but an elaborate hoax. As a string of eerie coincidences turns increasingly dangerous and begins to threaten the people she loves, she desperately tries to prove that she is being hunted by someone no one can see. But the harder she fights, the more her own sanity comes into question.
