The English Patient
Set during World War II, the story follows Laszlo Almásy, a cartographer assigned to map the remote regions of the Sahara Desert. His life takes a tragic turn after a plane crash leaves him with severe burns. Seeking refuge in an abandoned Italian monastery, Almásy is cared for by a nurse named Hanna. As he spends his days recovering in the quiet ruins, fragments of his past begin to resurface. Gradually, long-buried memories reveal a mysterious history and an unforgettable love that changed his life forever.
