Noah

For generations, the descendants of Cain have strayed from the path laid out by the Creator, recklessly draining the world of its riches and turning the earth into a barren, unlivable place. Greed, theft, violence, and chaos have become a way of life. In the face of humanity's corruption, Noah begins to receive visions in which the Creator warns him of a great flood to come. His task is clear: build an enormous ark and shelter a pair of every kind of animal on Earth. The ark will also be the only hope of survival for Noah's family. But when the people led by the ruthless Tubal-cain learn that the flood is coming, they launch a fierce assault on Noah in a desperate attempt to take the ark for themselves. Oscar winner Russell Crowe stars as Noah, alongside Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Ray Winstone, and Anthony Hopkins. Blending epic storytelling with fantasy elements, the film is directed by Darren Aronofsky, acclaimed for films such as Black Swan and Requiem for a Dream.
