Knocked Up

Freshly promoted TV reporter Alison Scott heads to a nightclub with her married sister Debbie to celebrate her big career news. There she meets Ben Stone, a carefree, easygoing slacker whose life revolves around having fun. Just as the two start chatting, Debbie gets a call from her husband Pete about an emergency at home and has to leave. Alison spends the rest of the night drinking and dancing with Ben, and the evening ends with the two of them spending the night together. Eight weeks later, Alison discovers she is pregnant. When she breaks the news to Ben, the two decide to raise the baby together, even though they barely know each other. But before Ben can become a father, he first needs to grow up himself. Written and directed by Judd Apatow, the romantic comedy stars Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl, with Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in supporting roles.
