Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

When yet another summer with the Dursleys ends in disaster, Harry Potter finds himself alone on a dark street - until the Knight Bus whisks him away to Diagon Alley, where troubling news awaits. Sirius Black, the first prisoner ever to escape the wizarding fortress of Azkaban, is on the loose, and everyone believes Harry is his target. His third year at Hogwarts begins under this shadow: while Harry learns to approach a hippogriff, face shape-shifting boggarts, and master the powerful Patronus charm, the school itself is patrolled by Dementors - soul-draining creatures whose chilling presence affects Harry more than anyone else. Meanwhile, hidden within the castle walls, a traitor waits unnoticed. Directed by Alfonso Cuarón and adapted from the third novel in J.K. Rowling's series, the film marks a darker, more mature turn for the saga.
