28 Days

Gwen Cummings is a successful New York writer who has built her life around nightlife, parties, and living without many restrictions. Spending her nights in bars and clubs with her equally adventurous boyfriend Jasper, Gwen sees life as something meant to be enjoyed. But everything changes after she causes a scene at her sister Lily's wedding and attempts to drive a limousine while intoxicated. As a result, Gwen is sentenced by the court to spend 28 days in a rehabilitation facility. Suddenly faced with strict rules and routines completely different from the life she knows, she struggles to fit in with the other residents. With the guidance of counselor Cornell, however, Gwen gradually begins confronting the emotional barriers she has built around herself. The friendships she forms and the challenges she encounters during treatment force her to look at her life from a different perspective and find the strength to take control of her future.
