Sister Act

Sister Act follows Deloris Van Cartier, a spirited lounge singer who is forced to hide in the last place anyone would think to look for her: a quiet convent. After witnessing a murder, Deloris becomes the target of dangerous criminals and is placed under protection inside the monastery. Adjusting to the strict and peaceful life of the nuns proves difficult for someone with her outspoken personality. Before long, however, Deloris wins over the sisters and takes charge of their struggling church choir. Bringing her energy, musical talent and unconventional ideas into the group, she transforms the lifeless choir into a lively ensemble filled with singing, dancing and enthusiasm. What starts as an unlikely arrangement soon changes the lives of everyone in the convent.
