Inside Out

Inside Out offers a delightful and touching journey into the depths of the human mind. Young Riley's world is turned upside down when her father takes a new job in San Francisco. Leaving her peaceful Midwestern life behind, Riley must now adjust to an unfamiliar house, a brand-new school and a whole new circle of friends. But what do the emotions inside her head make of all this change? Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith) - the five feelings living in Riley's mind and guiding her through everyday life - end up causing quite a bit of chaos as they struggle to adapt to this new chapter. Joy, Riley's most dominant emotion, works tirelessly to keep her positive no matter what, yet the other emotions find themselves thoroughly confused by the transition. Based on an original idea by Pete Docter, who also directs, the film features a screenplay by Michael Arndt. A joint production between Disney and Pixar, the movie's original voice cast includes talented names such as Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling, Phyllis Smith and Lewis Black.
