Inferno

This time, Robert Langdon finds himself trapped in the darkest puzzle of his life: waking up in a hospital room in Italy with no memory of the past few days. Confused and clearly being hunted, the professor finds an unexpected ally in Sienna Brooks, a young doctor determined to help him. Together they chase down clues to fill the gaps in Langdon's missing memory - a pursuit that sends them racing across Europe. The codes they uncover carry unsettling ties to the Divine Comedy, the masterpiece of the legendary Italian poet Dante. As the pieces come together, a horrifying picture emerges: a billionaire businessman is on the verge of unleashing a deadly plague aimed at the world's population. The only key to stopping this catastrophe lies buried deep within Langdon's fractured memories. Adapted from Dan Brown's novel of the same name, the film stars Tom Hanks, reprising the role he previously played in The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, alongside Felicity Jones. Ron Howard directs, working from a screenplay by David Koepp.
